From Don Bosley, Executive Director: "Mosaic West Sac, formally known as Mercy Coalition, is a homegrown West Sac nonprofit that utilizes a unique and special model to care for those impacted by homelessness, mental-health disorders, substance-use disorders, domestic violence, and trauma.  While we engage in plenty of programs and services, our ultimate deliverables are pockets of restorative community: inclusive, trauma-informed spaces where diversity is celebrated, equity is championed, and health, hope and healing are intertwined.  Our Recovery Cafe is at the center of this interdependent ecosystem, providing a daily hub of welcome, growth and recovery from trauma of every sort. These days we're most excited about the Mosaic Village project that has sprung up on two acres around the cafe site, with an urban farm, a paid 12-month internship program for our priority population, emergency food and clothing services, navigation case workers, and - break ground in August - 20 units of permanent supportive housing.  It's our own special island of Misfit Toys (as the attached photo of our staff bears witness)."

My practice specializes in supporting those affected by trauma, domestic violence, and the unique challenges faced by police, active-duty military, veterans, and their families.
